Nintendo Dsi: Pricey!

So I blogged about the Nintendo DSi a while ago... and it looks like there is now an (unconfirmed)official U.S. release date of April 4th. The kicker though, is that it will cost $180! That's $60 more than the current DS. What do you get for that premium price you ask? Well you will get a 2nd camera, ability to play DSi specific games, the ability to buy games off of the "Nintendo Game Store"k a little larger of screens, and a little thinner of a form factor. You lose the ability to play GBA games... Do you think that's worth $60? Its up in the air for me...

DePauw mentioned on The Daily Show

The wife and I were watching the Daily Show the other night, and to our surprise Jon Stewart mentioned that the CNN "Puppedential Debate" was held at DePauw University's Kresge Auditorium. Since we both went to DePauw, we were shocked that they actually mentioned a real auditorium in the small liberal arts school in Indiana.



Not only that, it was hilarious! Kudos to Anderson Cooper for being a good sport and doing this skit.

Favorite quote: "We don't have time for your puppy agenda, get this bitch off the stage." Nice.

Third Hand Smoke

I found this article in the New York Times saying that there is another risk associated with smoking called "Third Hand Smoke". This involves the chemicals that you can be exposed to via touch from people's clothing or objects that cigarette smoke has gotten onto.

Yes another reason, in my opinion, to ban smoking in public places completely.

People Still Playing PS2 the Most

Just saw this interesting graphic on Gizmodo:



I have to agree that I don't play the Wii I own nearly as much as I thought I would... I just got a 360 and I can definitely see how that could be more played than the rest of the current gen systems. But can you believe that the PS2 still rules them all? I guess just continues that console's domination (of course it could have something to do with it only being around $100 now).
